Skills in the arts go beyond the visual; creativity and the ability to "see" is relevant in problem solving, leadership, and social change. We believe arts degrees are important, and we want to recognize and encourage these efforts.

If you are entering or enrolled in a B.F.A, B.A., M.F.A, or M.A. program, you are welcome to apply. Prizes will be awarded to the student(s) who communicate direction that is both insightful and inspired. 50,000NPR total awarded, prize amount paid directly to the winner(s).

To enter, submit an essay describing the role arts have played in your life and the goals you hope to achieve. Essays must be in English and no more than 700 words.

Required application materials:

• Your essay

• CV or resume

• One letter of recommendation

• Photocopy of Nepali citizenship card or passport

• Academic transcripts

• Proof of enrollment in degree program

• Optional: Sample work or artist portfolio

• Application fee: 1000NPR per applicant
