International Education Week: Writing College Admissions Essays

**International Education Week Special Event**

Your essay, often referred to as your personal statement or statement of purpose, might be the most important part of your university application. But there's one problem: WRITING IS HARD.

Your essay should showcase your talents and skills to separate you from the rest of the crowd.

American educator and social worker Michelle Welsch (U.S.A.) will discuss what you need to include and how to get started so you can get admitted into your top choice with writing that is specific, clear, and organized.

This workshop will include tips and time to work on your essays with individual feedback. All are welcome.

International Education Week is a celebration of international education and exchange. This initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education aims to prepare students for a global environment by encouraging future leaders to study, learn, and exchange experiences.
